Today is a very special day for one of the world's biggest pop icons.  I would like to say Happy Birthday to music legend, Madonna!  She is widely referred to as the "Queen Of Pop" and has been killing it ever since.  In honor of her birthday today, I've decided to list my top 10 favorite songs from Madonna.  Here they are:

New Entrants

- Our first debut this week comes from returning artist Demi Lovato with her new single Sorry Not Sorry. It looks like she's going with a more EDM production than in her previous singles. It's basically a kiss-off to the haters.  As for the rest of the song, I do think Demi sounds good here. However, the chorus is a bit of a turn off, in part because it's a little louder. While it's no Cool For The Summer, Confident, or even Really Don't Care for the matter, it's still a solid song. Overall, I kinda like this for now.
  

- Anyone tired of The Chainsmokers yet? Well, too bad, because they have replaced themselves with their new single Honest. Now, I won't quite go there and say it's as good as its predecessors, but this song show how good Andrew Taggart is at singing. This song is just about wanting to be honest in a relationship. The lyrics do make sense here. Will this be another hit for The Chainsmokers? We'll have to wait and see, but I can see myself putting this in green soon.

- Last but not least, we have our best debut of the week. After about 4 years, we finally have the return of Kesha with what is probably the best comeback single we've have heard all year, which is titled Praying. It's been a while since we've heard new music from her, especially since her lawsuit against Dr. Luke a few years ago. But today, she is back, and I'll say these four words: this song is epic. Now, I'll put in more detail. Despite Kesha going with a more piano ballad than an upbeat pop song, she still pulled it off perfectly. It starts off slow, but as the song progresses, we hear the powerful chorus kick in. I'm definitely in love with Kesha's vocals, the piano is very well done, the lyrics are nearly perfect, and the rest of the production is excellent. From what I've heard, many critics are calling it one of the best songs of the year, and I definitely agree. Much like with Katy Perry, I've been a fan of her music since the beginning of this decade, with songs such as Tik Tok, We R Who We R, Die Young, and many more. Overall, this is easily one of the best songs of the year and I hope it does well. Making things even better is that it replaces one of the worst songs that many of us have been waiting for to leave. More on that in bit. But again, Praying is a near-flawless comeback single for Kesha, period.

I Hope You're Somewhere Blurbin', Blurbin'

- We'll begin with the exits as always. First off, I'm deeply saddened that we've lost both Sooner Or Later and Paris. Of course, Sooner Or Later wasn't gaining traction elsewhere, so it was not a surprise to see that one leave. However, Paris left sooner than expected, especially from a high position at #28. I thought it was going to stay longer like some of the other songs on the countdown, but I guess I was wrong. Both of these songs will be missed, at least by me. On a positive note, we must now celebrate as Don't Wanna Know has finally left the countdown! Good riddance! I will not miss you in the slightest!

- Before introducing Stay Together, Spyder Harrison mentioned that Miley Cyrus's sister Noah is the worst at texting people back. Heh, I mean, really? I don't think you're going to get many friends when you treat people like this, but I guess that's her personality.

- Before introducing Crying In The Club, Spyder Harrison mentioned that Camila Cabello wants to go to Rio with her friends. He also mentioned that she hasn't been on vacation in such a long time. I guess when you're a celebrity, you don't get as many vacations, sadly.

- I would appreciate if Starving were to leave soon. It has been here for a long time and not that many people enjoy this song anymore (except for WAMB10). As much as I really love Haliee Steinfeld as an artist, this song comes nowhere near her best work. Here's to hoping she does better.

- Before introducing Sign Of The Times, Spyder Harrison mentioned that during an interview with Mikey Piff, Harry Styles has said that the members of One Direction being successful as solo artists was the best thing that's ever happened to them. I'll say that's some pretty kind words from him, in part because Harry and its members were basically like a family.

- I'm thrilled to see Closer still here. It's one week away from lasting a year on the countdown. C'mon, voters!  Let's make it happen!

- Before introducing I'm The One, Spyder Harrison mentioned that after canceling the rest of his tour, Justin Bieber was just chilling and relaxing. At one point, he was watching the PGA Championship. Now that my friends, is a good way to rest from all that touring he's been doing lately.

- All of the songs from #35-#31 (excluding our debuts) held their positions this week.

- I'm not necessarily pleased to see Weak make a shocking jump back into the Top 30. I'm very close to putting it in red, so I'm hoping it drops back down soon.

- Before introducing The Cure, Spyder Harrison mentioned that Lady Gaga actually served as a substitute teacher for a local middle school. That sounds pretty cool. There's a YouTube video on that also. I heard this is part of a campaign to raise money for the Born This Way Foundation.

- Before introducing Strip That Down, Spyder Harrison mentioned that when Liam Payne got his haircut, his fans went crazy on social media. Not only that, but I heard his girlfriend likes it, too. It goes to show that he's still a popular celebrity around the globe.

- Despacito made a massive jump into the Top 5 this week. I have a feeling it will hit #1 here, also, given that it's still gaining ground. I'm hearing that it'll break the record for most weeks at #1 on Billboard. Question is, will it actually do it? We'll have to find out.

- Speaking of #1, we have Believer still at the top spot. A part of me wants Despacito to take over now, what with it still dominating the charts now. Still, I don't mind Believer spending another week at #1 if it wants to.

- We have quite a shake-up on Hit-Bound with four new songs entering this week. First, we'll begin with Demi Lovato who replaced herself with her collaboration with Cheat Codes in their single No Promises. I do think the beat drop and their vocals sounds pretty good, even if it's not their best work thus far. It's a little closer to green than it is to red. It'll probably be there with more listens.

- Next up, we have more Halsey, in the form of Bad At Love. Now, this song is quite a big step up from Now Or Never, as her new single has more to it. The production and her vocals sound much better here. More words when it debuts.

- Then, we have Hey Violet once again, this time with their new single Hoodie. Not much I can say about this one, but I'm sure many people will like this one better than Break My Heart and Guys My Age, in part because the vocals sound good here.

- Finally, P!NK has released her comeback single titled What About Us. Now, to put it easy, I'm in love with this song. Sure, it's not as good as her previous singles, but I can live with this. I'll say more about this when it debuts soon.

- I'm not even going to comment on the fact that Body Like A Back Road somehow made it to the YouTube 15. Out of all the country songs out there, this one had to gain popularity.

- I'm not a fan of Camila Cabello's new single Havana, which features Young Thug. It has the same generic rapping that flooding the charts nowadays, and Camila Cabello's somewhat decent vocals can't save this song from me putting it in red. Overall, it's not her best choice for her next single. NEXT!

- I can't really say I'm a fan of Madison Beer's single, which is titled Dead. While her vocals sound good, the rest of the song is underwhelming to say the least. I personally think there are better songs out there.

- Charli XCX released a new single titled Boys. While it's a step up from the terrible After The Afterparty, it's still nothing when compared to Boom Clap. The vocals and production aren't all that good. It's closer to red than it is to green.

- Next we have more Demi Lovato once again, this time collaborating with Jax Jones and Stefflon Don with their latest single Instruction. Now, it's slightly better than some of the other songs mentioned above, but I'm not really a fan of Demi's super fast vocals, which makes it hard for me to understand the lyrics. I'm sure she's done better.

- Dua Lipa has recently released her new single titled New Rules. I don't quite think it's as good as Blow Your Mind (Mwah), but I still like it for what it is. I wonder will this actually be a huge hit for her? I'm hoping so.

- Probably the best new song trending right now is Sun Comes Up, which is sung by returning artist James Arthur collaborating with Rudimental. This song showcases James Arthur's vocals and he's proven that he can sing. I do like the EDM production Rudimental has put together. Overall, I think this a great song for both artists and I'm hoping it keeps trending for a little longer.

- I'm actually not surprised to see Shape Of You and That's What I Like still trending, especially considering they're still somewhat popular. Despacito making the list is also not surprising; it's still gaining enormous popularity and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. And that's perfectly fine by me as I still enjoy this song a lot lately.

Fifth Harmony - All In My Head (Flex): This is quite a cool single, especially during the summer when going to the beach. The girls actually sound better than they did in Work From Home. It's too bad Hits 1 edited out the vocals from Fetty Wap, who actually contributes to the song. That said, I kinda wish it did better than only lasting 5 weeks here.

TWENTY ØNE PILØTS - Heathens: Taken from the Suicide Squad movie soundtrack, this song got mixed reactions from the blogging community. However, I definitely enjoyed the new sound when compared to other songs such as Tear In My Heart, Stressed Out, & Ride. I'm very pleased that this became another big hit for this band and I'm hoping they make some more singles like this soon.

- Our first of two entrants comes from Khalid with his new single Location.  Honestly, I don't get what people like about this song.  It's just another boring rap song that doesn't get my attention.  I'm not a fan of his vocals at all, and the lyrics are just as bad.  Here's to hoping it leaves soon.  NEXT!

- Finally, we have the return of Kesha with her new single titled Praying.  It's been a long while since we've heard new music from her, in part because of her lawsuit against Dr. Luke.  But today, she's back at making music.  Now, despite this single being a slow ballad, this is the best comeback single for Kesha and probably the best we've had all year.  I'll talk more about this on the Hits 1 Weekend Countdown when it debuts there.

I Had To Learn How To Blurb For Myself
- I don't know about you, but I'm so ready for both Congratulations to leave already.  Seriously, his vocals are grating and it's only gotten worse after each listen.

- I'm quite surprised to see Rockabye still on this countdown.  It may have lost its popularity a long time ago, but I don't really mind if it stays for another week or so.

- Of course, Body Like A Back Road would jump big this week.  I really hate that this song is still getting popular when there are better country songs out there.

- As far as our exits go this week, I'm sad about HUMBLE. leaving.  Bad Liar, on the other hand, I'm thrilled to see it leave, though I'm quite shocked that it left from a really high position at #15.  If I'm correct, this is the highest drop off in AT 40 history.

What's up, guys?  This is my special 5,000th Pageview post.  I've decided to dedicate my post by doing my very first Top 10 songs series.  Every once in while whenever I'm not doing the Weekend Countdown, I plan on doing a list of my Top 10 songs from various artists.  Today, I'm going to begin by looking at one of biggest artists of all time.

New Entrants

- We have only one new entrant this week, and it comes from returning artist Julia Michaels with her second single titled Uh Huh. Earlier this summer, we had Body Like A Back Road debut on the countdown. My opinions have not changed since; I still think it's the worst song of the year by a landslide. Our new entrant, Uh Huh, is the second worst song of the year in my opinion. I don't get what people like about it because when I first listened to it, I was not impressed at all. The lyrics to this song are absolutely horrific in her new single. Julia's vocals are just as appalling. If I were a professional music critic, and I find that this is one of the best songs of the year, I will be extremely ticked off. Now, I'll probably still like Issues to some degree even though I've been growing out of her predecessor for some time now, and unlike some of you, I'm not as infuriated when it comes on the radio. But when it comes to her new single, I just cannot like Uh Huh like I did with Issues. When it comes to this song in general, I have a feeling it's going to be the Me Too of 2017. Unlike Me Too, which was a big guilty pleasure of mine from last year, this song isn't, and there's nothing I like about it that makes me want to dance to it or even have it on repeat. Overall, this is easily a candidate for my Top 5 worst songs of the year and I hope it does not become a massive hit, because my reaction will not be pretty if it does.

Oh, No, No, I Just Keep On Blurbing Back To You

- I'm not thrilled that this is the song that replaces Fitz & The Tantrums - HandClap. While I don't quite like it as much as I used to, I still think it's pretty solid. Good-Bye, HandClap. You will not be forgotten.

- Before introducing Stay Together, Spyder Harrison mentioned that Noah went jet skiing with Austin Mahone. Rumors are going around that they're possibly dating.

- Before introducing Sign Of The Times, Spyder Harrison mentioned that during an interview with The Morning Mash-Up, Harry Styles said that his current favorite song was Bad Liar. Apparently, he doesn't seem to pay attention to the other critics' take on that song. But if he loves it, that's just his opinion.

- On that note, I'm thrilled to see Bad Liar having the Biggest DRRRRRROP!!! Of The Week this week. I honestly couldn't take anymore of that song. Hopefully, it won't be much longer with us.

- I can't believe Play That Song is still here. C'mon, people. Can we please get this awful song off the countdown already?!

- Before introducing I'm The One, Spyder Harrison mentioned that Justin Bieber explained why he decided to cancel the rest of his tour in a letter he sent to his fans. Justin Bieber himself mentioned that he wanted his career to be sustainable. He posted the rest of his letter on his Twitter page. Now with that said, I'm shocked that I'm The One took a big jump despite the lack of airplay this week. Apparently, it doesn't look like it wants to give up just yet, heh.

- Before introducing It Ain't Me, Spyder Harrison mentioned that Justin Bieber is currently dating someone that resembles Selena Gomez. Apparently, it seems he has a specific type of girls he's looking for.

- Of course, One More Light would have the Biggest Jump Of The Week this week. Whether this becomes a hit or not, we'll have to see.

- Hailee Steinfeld is supposedly starring in a Transformers spin-off titled Bumblebee, which will feature pro wrestler John Cena. No word on what role they'll play at this moment, but I'm interested to see what happens in the movie, which comes out next year.

- Before introducing Attention, Spyder Harrison mentioned that Charlie Puth is rumored to be joining Katy Perry on the upcoming American Idol reboot. That could be a perfect gig for him. After all, he's a rising star much like some of the artists currently on the countdown.

- And that brings us to our #1 song, in which Believer spends it's second week at the top spot. Though I would've preferred for Something Just Like This or There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back, I don't mind Believer taking the #1 spot, as long as it blocks Body Like A Back Road from getting there.

- Our first of two new entrants on Hit-Bound comes from Rita Ora with her new single Your Song. I briefly reviewed this song on YouTube 15 back in June. But to sum it up, I can't really say I'm enjoying this song just yet, but there are some things I like about it. I can see this song growing on me in the near future.

- Second, we have The Revivalists with the song Wish I Knew You. I'm quite surprised this made it on Hit-Bound considering it's from 2016. There's not much I can say about this song other than I find this decent. We'll see if it grows on me.

- On a sad note, we say good-bye to Paramore - Hard Times. It would've been really nice if that song made it to the countdown, but unfortunately it wasn't meant to be a hit. Oh well. Maybe another day.

AJR - I'm Not Famous: One of the blogging community's most hated songs, and I can somewhat see why. I'm not really a fan of the vocals, but the lyrics kinda made sense. It's basically not wanting to be famous and the fact that they don't have any haters.

Ariana Grande - Into You: Easily the best single off of Dangerous Woman album, and for a very good reason. Ariana's vocals and the lyrics to this song are excellent. Combine that with great EDM production and you can see why this was a fan favorite. I love that it has references to Mariah Carey's 2008 single Touch My Body.

This is a special post about my Top 5 songs from Linkin Park.  For those who don't know, Linkin Park was formed in 1996 and have since became one of the most popular rock bands of the 21st Century.  Today, the band members lost one of their own when lead vocalist Chester Bennington tragically passed away a couple weeks ago after he committed suicide.  My hearts and prayers still go out to his family at this difficult time.  So with that in mind, I've decided to share a list of my favorite songs from Linkin Park.  Here they are:

New Entrants
- Our first of two entrants comes from Linkin Park with One More Light. I can't really say much about this song except it's basically a tribute to the late Chester Bennington, who passed away last week after committing suicide. I think this song is appropriate for a tribute single, mainly because of the production and the vocals. That's all I've got for now.

- Next, we have more Louis Tomlinson, this time with his new single Back To You which features Bebe Rexha and Digital Farm Animals. I didn't really expect this to debut so soon, but I'm kinda happy that it did. I do like the production, the vocals, and pretty much everything else. I'm not gonna say this is better than Just Hold On yet, but this is a keeper.

I'll Blurb You At Your Word And Carry On

- Let's begin with our exits this week. Neither Overwhelming nor Good Time Good Life were popular everywhere else, so it wasn't surprising to see them leave so soon (the latter which WAMB10 is very disappointed about). It would've been nice to see them last another week or two.

- Believer has finally managed to reach #1 after several weeks in the Top 5. I figured it was going to end up getting that spot sooner or later, given that it's still gaining steam elsewhere. While there are some people who are disappointed about this, I'm not one of them.

- We have two new entrants in the Top 5 this week. Unfortunately, one of those entrants is Body Like A Back Road, which I'm not thrilled about at all. But the entry from Slow Hands is welcome.

- It Ain't Me took a massive drop out of the Top 10 and out of the Top 20 altogether. Meanwhile, we have the awful Bad Liar which has barely cracked the Top 15. It would be really nice if we could swap places with these two songs.

- On that note, Malibu took another big drop all the way down to the bottom of the countdown. Looks like Miley Cyrus won't have a hit like she did with Wrecking Ball & We Can't Stop. It's not going to be much longer until it leaves.

- In music news, Katy Perry is set to host the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards, which will take place on the night of August 27, 2017. This is certainly welcoming news as I've always been a fan of Katy Perry and her music. I'm hoping this year's awards show will certainly be better than last year, which wasn't that exciting.

Jordan Fisher - All About Us: From the very first listen, I instantly fell in love with the song, mainly because he as so much energy and charisma throughout the song. While I won't really say that this is the best debut single from a rising artist, he has shown that he has great vocals. He sounds basically like a younger version of Usher.
Jacob Whitesides - Lovesick: This one is a pretty fun listen. I'm in love with the intro where the "Hmm's" come in, and the song definitely has some throwback vibe. Overall, this track a keeper, and I wish it could've been a success elsewhere.
