Introduction

Hello, guys!  My name is Montavis.  I enjoy listening to music, in particular Sirius XM Hits 1.  This blog about the Sirius XM Hits 1 Weekend Countdown (hosted by Spyder Harrison), which airs every weekend.  When I do my posts, I'll give you a brief recap of the countdown and include some other stuff as well, such as Hit-Bound, My Top 5/Bottom 5 Picks, etc.  Here's how I will format:

1. Intro - Basically my introduction before I get to the countdown.

2. Exits - The songs that are leaving the countdown during the week.  Note that some weeks will not have any exits.

3. The Countdown - A recap of the top 45 songs, including last week's #1 song, and a song that was #1 one year ago.

4. Entrants - The songs entering during the week and my opinions on them.  And again, some weeks will not have any entrants.

5. Blurbs - My thoughts about the countdown

6. Hit-Bound - A show hosted by Mikey Piff in which they play songs that are starting to get popular.  Here, I include songs that are currently on the list for a particular week and give my thoughts on them.  Note that most of the songs on the weekend countdown have spent at least one week on Hit-Bound.

8. My Top 5/Bottom 5 Picks

9. Some other stuff I'll include are:

Color-Coding

The color code that I use on the countdown is basically my thoughts on the songs.  Here it is:

Purple - Best song on the countdown
Green - Song is great/good
Blue - Song is decent/okay
Pink - Song is close to getting old
Yellow - Song is old
Turquoise - Song is really old and needs to leave or I'll probably hate it
Red - Song is bad
Orange - Worst song on the countdown
Dark Green - No opinion on the song

However on different occasions not related to the countdown (such as the year-end list and other things), here's the color code I will use:

Purple - Best song 
Green - Great song
Blue - Good song
Pink - Decent song
Yellow - Mediocre song
Turquoise - Bad song
Red - Awful song
Orange - Worst song
Dark Green - No opinion on the song
